Minneapolis, MN (December 5, 2017) — A B2B industry report that collected data from the top 30 IT Hardware company eCommerce websites was released today. The ranking considers a variety of metrics based on a company’s user experience, marketing, and ability to meet the needs of B2B buyers. Out of all the IT Hardware companies surveyed, Dell was ranked number one in overall performance, closely followed by CDW and Lenovo.
On top of ranking the industries head-to-head, the report was able to pull some shocking statistics from the vast amount of data.
The key findings from the report are as follows:
- 30% offer a specialized mobile app
- 57% show the customer recommended products
- 40% had reviews on their products
- 23% made their volume discounts visible
- 17% used video on product pages
- 10% created bundled pricing on the site
The IT Hardware B2B eCommerce report is the sixth industry to be featured in Apruve’s research portfolio. Other industries include eCommerce reports on electronic distributors, promotional products, office supplies, electronic components, and the dental supply industry.
“B2C eCommerce usability far exceeds its B2B counterpart,” stated Michael Noble, CEO of Apruve, “but B2B eCommerce is growing at double the rate and will soon pass B2C in revenue. If a company does not have a great online presence, they will undoubtedly be passed up by their competition. We hope these reports help those businesses recognize their weaknesses and help set benchmarks.”
Future reports are scheduled to be released each quarter across a variety of B2B industries.
